The Osteria Antico Travaglio in Monteriggioni offers you a Tuscan menu that is well suited to any occasion, but always based on simple ingredients. We start with our Tuscan platters of cured meats and cheeses, carefully selected and rigorously from the area, served with spicy mustards and jams, bruschettas and crostini from our tradition, salads very tasty and vegetables from our countryside accompanied by extra virgin olive oil and our homemade naturally leavened bread. And this is just the beginning, to then continue with first courses such as pappardelle or typically Sienese pici accompanied perhaps by mushrooms or game, or with second courses "as they used to be made in the old days", those slow cooked and designed with dedication, or the grilled meat, the restaurant's real highlight, such as the classic grilled Fiorentina steak, at least two fingers high, coming from selected farms. All accompanied by Tuscan wines from our fine selection, wines that have always quenched thirst and put things in the right perspective.
